    Cemeteries and Votive Lamps

    What is it

Votive lighting is a service provided by the Municipality, offering applicants a light point on the grave of their deceased.
Votive lights can be activated on any burial within municipal cemeteries (niches, ossuaries, ground burials, family tombs and chapels) upon request by a relative of the deceased or the holder of the burial concession.
The votive lighting service requires the payment of an annual fee, which includes supervision, maintenance of the systems, and electricity consumption; this fee is charged through a specific bill/invoice.

ABACO is responsible solely for votive lighting and not for other cemetery services.
